1. 中国 位于 太平洋 以东， 是 亚洲 最大的 国家。 zhōng guó wèi yú tài píng yáng yǐ dōng ，shì yà zhōu zuì dà de guó jiā 。 China, situated on the east coast of the Pacific Ocean, is the largest country in Asia.

2.中国 全名 叫， 中华 人民 共和国。 zhōng guó quán míng jiào ，zhōng huá rén mín gòng hé guó. The full name of China is the People’s Republic of China.

3. 中国 的 国旗 是 五星红旗。 zhōng guó de guó qí shì wǔ xīng hóng qí 。 The national flag of China is the five-star red flag.

4.中国 的 国徽 包括： 天安门， 麦穗， 齿轮 和 五星红旗。 zhōng guó de guó huī bāo kuò ：tiān ān mén ， mài suì ，chǐ lún hé wǔ xīng hóng qí 。 The national emblem depicts Tian’anmen at the center,illuminated by the five starts from the national flag and encircled by ears of wheat and a cogwheel.

5.中国 的 国歌 是 义勇军进行曲 zhōng guó de guó gē shì yì yǒng jūn jìn xíng qǔ 。 The national anthem of China is the March of the Volunteers.

6. 中国 一共 有 56 个 民族， 汉族 是 最大的 民族。 zhōng guó yī gong yǒu wǔ shí liù gè mín zú ，hàn zú shì zuì dà de mín zú。 China is comprising 56 ethnic group, the Han nationality is the largest one.

7. 中国 有 五个 少数民族 自治区： 内蒙古 自治区，新疆 维吾尔 自治区，宁夏 回族 自治区， 广西 壮族 自治区， 西藏 自治区。 zhōng guó yǒu wǔ gè shǎo shù mín zú zì zhì qū ：nèi méng gǔ zì zhì qū, xīn jiāng wéi wú ěr zì zhì qū, níng xià huí zú zì zhì qū ，guǎng xī zhuàng zú zì zhì qū, xī zàng zì zhì qū 。 There are five autonomous regions in the country equivalent to provinces: Inner Mongolia, xinjiang (uygur), Ningxia(hui), Guangxi( Zhuang), and Tibet.

8. 中国 各地 有 不同的 方言。 zhōng guó gè dì yǒu bù tóng de fāng yán 。 There are different dialects in different region.

9. 中国 的 官方 语言 是 汉语， 也 叫 普通话。 Z hōng guó de guān fāng yǔ yán shì hàn yǔ ， yě jiào pǔ tōng huà 。 The official language of China is Mandarin Chinese , also name is Putonghua.

10. 中国 大陆 使用 简体字； 台湾， 香港， 澳门 使用 繁体字。 zhōng guó dà lù shǐ yòng jiǎn tǐ zì ；tái wān, xiāng gǎng , ào mén shǐ yòng fán tǐ zì 。 The mainland people today use simplified characters, whereas traditional unsimplifies characters are still preserved in Taiwan, Hong Kong , and Macao.
