學校簡介 蘇浙小學幼稚園於1953年創辦，是香港歷史悠久，規模宏大的幼 稚園之一。蘇浙小學是一所非牟利小學，現設本地課程小學部、 幼稚園部（於2014年12月經過教育局學前機構第二次質素評核）、 幼兒園及國際部(幼稚園和小學)。幼兒園學生可報讀幼稚園(非直 升制)。幼稚園 學生可報讀小學一年級(非直升制)，錄取與否分別 視幼稚園及小學部學額而定。 Introduction: Kiangsu & Chekiang Primary School, one of the largest primary schools in Hong Kong, was founded in 1953. The non-profit-making school has 4 sections: Primary Section, Kindergarten Section (Our section has passed the Pre-schools Quality Review from EDB in 12/2014), Nursery Section and International Section (Primary and Kindergarten). Nursery students may apply to study in the kindergarten section upon graduation but places are limited and are not guaranteed. Kindergarten students may apply to study in the Primary Section but have to meet admission criteria.

辦學宗旨及特色 香港蘇浙滬同鄉會辦學宗旨以校訓「整齊嚴肅」四字涵蓋，即認真辦學，培育下一代。 對蘇浙小學幼稚園部而言，就是學童在輕鬆愉快的遊戲環境中產生濃厚學習興趣、熱衷學習及初步學會如何學習。 幼稚園部同時重視在兒童學習的萌芽階段建立全人教育的基礎及兩文三語的發展。 Education Mission and Special Features: The motto of KCPS is ‘Orderly and Respectful’. We use Mandarin as the medium of instruction. The aim of the school is to enable children to be interested in learning and learn in a relaxing environment. We lay emphasis on the use of English and Mandarin.

教育理念 本校將西方的知、情、意、行和中國的德、智、體、群、美五育的全人教育觀結合起來，透過有趣、啟發性的遊戲活動結合起來，提升幼兒學習能力。 Ideology: The school provides a whole-person education which integrates Chinese and Western theories which combine moral, intellectual, physical, communal, aesthetic developments with knowledge, attitudes and skills. Our teaching is based on activities which stimulate children’s interest in learning.

教學設計及目標 本園根據教育局學前教育課程指引，「以兒童為中 心」，結合兒童的生活經驗，配合兒童能力之發展， 並運用「主題教學」及「設計課程」之教學模式，編 排綜合性課程。學校重視兒童早期閱讀能力的發展， 為各級幼兒創設適齡及舒適的圖書館和閱覽室。利用 多元的媒體教學資源，積極推動資訊科技教育等，使 學生享受學校生活的樂趣，促進兒童社會性發展。K1 級每日有40分鐘以上由外籍教師教授英語，以故事、 遊戲方式進行，使兒童獲得兩文三語的發展。 Curriculum Planning and Aims In accordance with the guidelines “ Guide to the Pre-primary Curriculum” from the EDB, teachers’ planning is child-centered. To develop the children’s learning ability, we employ the Integrated Curriculum and the Project Approach. Each school day is interesting and full of various activities. The children have more than 40 minutes of an English lesson every day by native English teachers. They play games, read stories integrating the EDB curriculum in their lessons. The school provides an environment for children to learn and use English naturally.

師資 全體教師均接受過專業的幼兒教育師資培訓，具備幼稚園教育證書資格、幼兒教育學士學位或幼兒教育碩士資格等學歷，具豐富教學經驗，對兒童有愛心及關懷，極有利兒童認知、體能、情意及群性、美感及文化方面的均衡發展。本校定期進行校本各年級段的教師觀摩教學交流活動，透過專題學習、教研會、講座、校本工作坊、交流分享等，提升教師專業水平。幼稚園師生比例不高於1:15。 Teachers’ Professional Qualifications : Our teachers are Qualified and registered with the EDB. They are well trained and have all the teaching skills that are required to teach to the high standards expected of our kindergarten. The ratio of teachers to children is 1 to less than 15.

外籍小朋友入讀本校本地課程 本園小朋友來自香港及不同國家，如英、美、澳、德、 加、日、意、韓等國，兒童有機會一起學習，在國際 化的兒童樂園中生活，從中西文化交流中成長。 Multi-Cultural Learning Environment Most children in our Kindergarten are from Hong Kong. However, we also have a large number of expatriate children studying with us. They are from the U.K., the U.S.A., Australia, Germany, Canada, Japan, Italy, Korea and other countries. This makes our environment truly multi-cultural where children from different nations are able to play and communicate with each others in either Mandarin and English.

學校環境 校內佔地四萬五千六百平方尺，環境寬敞、整潔，擁有五 個大型活動場所，設備完善齊全、新穎，對兒童肢體動作 的發展及視野空間、創作能力提供理想的環境。 Environment The total area of Kiangsu & Chekiang Primary School campus is 45,600 sq.ft. There are three outdoor and two indoor playgrounds. They are all equipped with modern facilities.

大型活動 本園每年舉辦豐富多彩的大型活動，例如中秋節班本活動、聖誕節歌舞表演、春節聯歡活動、幼兒體操匯演。另外本校為提升兒童潛能的發展，每年安排小朋友參加全港性各項比賽，例如全港校際兒童詩歌 朗誦、校際音樂節中、英文唱遊比賽等均獲優異成績。本校善於利用社區資源進行校外課程學習，如參觀交通安全城、太空館、科學館、香港公園 、動植物公園、超級市場、鰂魚涌海濱公園、海灘活動及寫生畫等。 Activities: The school holds many activities throughout the year, for example, Christmas Talent Show, Chinese New Year Party, Aerobics Performance. We emphasize the participation of various kinds of learning activities outside school. The children also participate in inter-school competitions every year, for example, Chinese and English singing contests and Chinese speech contest .

家長教師聯誼會 本校於一九五四年成立全港第一間家長教師聯誼會，每年定期舉辦聯誼活動，如聖誕聯歡晚會、秋季郊遊及謝師宴 等。並提供網上訊息，推進家校合作。每學年均設多元智能獎， 例如：「多元智能一等獎」、「多元智能二等獎」、「最佳好寶寶」、「好寶寶」等獎項。 Parents-Teachers Association: Our school’s PTA was established in 1954. In order to promote communication between parents, teachers and the school, the PTA provides a web-site. The PTA also sponsors the Good Child awards, scholarships and other awards.
