26 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part1 FANUC and FANUC robot FANUC FANUC has consistently pursued the automation of factories since 1956, when it succeeded in the development of the SERVO mechanism for the first time in the Japanese private sector. FANUC is a group of companies, principally FANUC Corporation of Japan, that provide automation products and services such as robotics and computer numerical control systems. FANUC is one of the largest makers of industrial robots in the world.

26 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part1 FANUC and FANUC robot FANUC had its beginnings as part of Fujitsu developing early numerical control (NC) and servo systems. The company name is an acronym for Fuji Automatic NUmerical Control. In 1972, the Computing Control Division became independent and FANUC Ltd was established. The company's clients include US and Japanese automobile and electronics manufacturers. FANUC has over 240 joint ventures, subsidiaries, and offices in over 46 countries. It is the largest maker of CNC controls by market share with 65% of the global market and is the leading global manufacturer of factory automation systems.

Now FANUC is the only company in the world by a robot to do the robot company, and is the only enterprise to provide integrated vision system of the robot in the world, meanwhile is also the only company in the world to provide intelligent robot and provide intelligent machine company.
