1（所羅門上行之詩。）若不是耶和華建造房屋，建造的人就枉然勞力；若不是耶和華看守城池，看守的人就枉然警醒。2你們清晨早起，夜晚安歇，吃勞碌得來的飯，本是枉然；惟有耶和華所親愛的，必叫他安然睡覺。【詩 127:1~2】 1A song of ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. 2In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleep to those he loves. 【Ps 127:1~2】

3兒女是耶和華所賜的產業；所懷的胎是他所給的賞賜。4少年時所生的兒女好像勇士手中的箭。5箭袋充滿的人便為有福；他們在城門口和仇敵說話的時候，必不至於羞愧。【詩 127:3~5】 3Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. 4Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. 【Ps 127:3~5】

I. Is the life full of meaning? 這個生命是不是充滿意義? A shooting star or a star died of old age? 一顆流星, 還是燜 燒的老星星. Life of a church is not an issue, but the impact is. 教會不是年紀重要, 而是對社會的影響力重要.

19過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算賬。20那領五千銀子的又帶著那另外的五千來，說：主阿，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。21主人說：好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。【太 25:19~21】 19"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.' 21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' 【Matt 25:19~21】

22那領二千的也來，說：主阿，你交給我二千銀子。請看，我又賺了二千。23主人說：好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。【太 25:22~23】 22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.' 23"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' 【Matt 25:22~23】

24那領一千的也來，說：主阿，我知道你是忍心的人，沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，25我就害怕，去把你的一千銀子埋藏在地裡。請看，你的原銀子在這裡。26主人回答說：你這又惡又懶的僕人，你既知道我沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，【太 25:24~30】 24"Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.' 26"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 【Matt 25:24~30】

27就當把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。28奪過他這一千來，給那有一萬的。29因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。30把這無用的僕人丟在外面黑暗裡；在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。【太 25:24~30】 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28"'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 【Matt 25:24~30】

We can ask 1 of 3 questions 我們可以問3個問題中的一個. In the past 8 years/在過去這8年間 1. “What impact do we place on the world?” / “我們對這個 世界發生了甚麼樣子的影響?” 2. Or, “Absolutely no impact!” / 或是 “毫無影響?” 3. The worst, “What impact has the world place on the church?” /最糟糕的問題, 就是 “這世界對教會產生了甚麼 樣的影響?” 

II. Is the life an illustration of eternal life? 這個生命是彰顯永恆的生命嗎? 主耶穌說, “神的國就在你們心裡” (路17:21) The Kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21) 又說, “願你的國度降臨, 願你的旨意行在地上, 如同在天上 ”. (太6:10) “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:10)

神永恆的國度價值, 現在在教會中顯現出來. The value of God’s eternal kingdom appears now in the church.

A. Authority of the Bible 聖經沒有謬誤 16聖經都是神所默示的（或作：凡神所默示的聖經），於 教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，17叫屬 神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。【提後 3:16~17】 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 【2Tim 3:16~17】

B. 公義的標準 Justice in Society 11我又看見一個白色的大寶座與坐在上面的；從他面前天地都逃 避，再無可見之處了。12我又看見死了的人，無論大小，都站在 寶座前。案卷展開了，並且另有一卷展開，就是生命冊。死了 的人都憑著這些案卷所記載的，照他們所行的受審判。【啟 20:11~12】 11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 【Rev 20:11~12】

To God’s Society對神的社區 24惟願公平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。【摩 5:24】 24But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! 【Amos 5:24】

To God’s Child對神的子民 8世人哪，耶和華已指示你何為善。他向你所要的是甚麼 呢？只要你行公義，好憐憫，存謙卑的心，與你的　神 同行。【彌 6:8】 8He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. 【Mic 6:8】

1詭詐的天平為耶和華所憎惡；公平的法碼為他所喜悅。 【箴 11:1】 1The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight. 【Prov 11:1】 6（我若被公道的天平稱度，使神可以知道我的純正；） 【伯 31:6】 6let God weigh me in honest scales and he will know that I am blameless-- 【Job 31:6】

III.
