Threat outside of my expectation 出乎意料之外的恐嚇 (1 Kings 18:19, 22; 19:1-3) 19現在你當差遣人，招聚以色列眾人和事奉巴力的那四百五十個 先知，並耶洗別所供養事奉亞舍拉的那四百個先知，使他們都上 迦密山去見我。 . . . 22以利亞對眾民說：作耶和華先知的只剩下我 一個人；巴力的先知卻有四百五十個人。 . . . 【王上 18:19, 22】 19Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. What you said is good. 你所說的甚好. The Lord—He is God, the Lord—He is God! 耶和華是神! 耶和華是神! The people said nothing. 眾民一言不答. Revival in Jezereel! 耶斯列的大復興!

Physical fatigue 體力的耗盡 (1 Kings 18:46; 19:4-8) 46耶和華的靈(原文作手)降在以利亞身上，他就束上腰，奔在 亞哈前頭，直到耶斯列的城門。19:4自己在曠野走了一日的路程， 來到一棵羅騰樹下(羅騰小樹名，松類；下同)，就坐在那裡求 死，說：耶和華啊，罷了！求你取我的性命，因為我不勝於我 的列祖。【王上 18:46; 19:4】 46The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel. 19:4while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, LORD," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." 【1King 18:46; 19:4】

II. Physical fatigue 體力的耗盡 (1 Kings 18:46; 19:4-8) 5他就躺在羅騰樹下，睡著了。有一個天使拍他，說：起來 吃罷！6他觀看，見頭旁有一瓶水與炭火燒的餅，他就吃了 喝了，仍然躺下。【王上 19:5~6】 5Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, "Get up and eat." 6He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again. 【1King 19:5~6】

Physical fatigue 體力的耗盡 (1 Kings 18:46; 19:4-8) 7耶和華的使者第二次來拍他，說：起來吃罷！因為你當走 的路甚遠。8他就起來吃了喝了，仗著這飲食的力，走了四 十晝夜，到了　 神的山，就是何烈山。【王上 19:7~8】 7The angel of the LORD came back a second time and touched him and said, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you." 8So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. 【1King 19:7~8】

Sleep Apnea/Hupnea 呼吸缺氧症 淺睡期(light sleep) 深睡期(deep sleep) 在深睡期後, 通常有REM (Rapid Eye Movement)

Learn from God學神 1天地萬物都造齊了。2到第七日，　 神造物的工已經完 畢，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。3　 神賜福給 第七日，定為聖日；因為在這日，　神歇了他一切創造 的工，就安息了。【創 2:1~3】 1Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. 【Gen 2:1~3】

Learn from God學神 8當記念安息日，守為聖日。9六日要勞碌做你一切的工，10但第 七日是向耶和華─你　 神當守的安息日。這一日你和你的兒女、 僕婢、牲畜，並你城裡寄居的客旅，無論何工都不可做；11因為 六日之內，耶和華造天、地、海，和其中的萬物，第七日便安 息，所以耶和華賜福與安息日，定為聖日。【出 20:8~11】 8"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. 【Exod 20:8~11】

We are Children not Slaves 我們是孩子不是奴隸 12當照耶和華─你　神所吩咐的守安息日為聖日。13六日要勞碌做你一切的工，14但第七日是向耶和華─你　 神當守的安息日。這一日，你和你的兒女、僕婢、牛、驢、牲畜，並在你城裡寄居的客旅，無論何工都不可做，使你的僕婢可以和你一樣安息。15你也要記念你在埃及地作過奴僕；耶和華─你　 神用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂將你從那裡領出來。因此，耶和華─你的　神吩咐你守安息日。【申 5:12~15】12"Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you. 13Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too." 【1King 19:9~10】

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. 12After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 【1King 19:11-12】

Handling defeat God’s way 用神的方法來處理失敗 (1 Kings 19:9-18). 13以利亞聽見，就用外衣蒙上臉，出來站在洞口。有聲音向他說： 以利亞啊，你在這裡做甚麼？14他說：我為耶和華─萬軍之神大發 熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你 的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命.【王上 19:13- 14】 13When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" 14He replied, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 16Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. 17Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. 【王上 1King 19:9~18】

On earth he showed you his great fire, and you heard his words from out of the fire. 【Deut 4:35~36】

14你這蟲雅各和你們以色列人，不要害怕！耶和華說：我 必幫助你。你的救贖主就是以色列的聖者。【賽 41:14】 14Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you," declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 【Isa 41:14】
