The Fallen Genesis 3:1-21

Genesis 創世記 (新譯本, NASB) 1:27於是， 神照著自己的形象創造人；就是照著　神的形象創造了他；祂所創造的有男有女。 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.   1:31 神看祂所造的一切都很好。有晚上，有早晨;這是第六日。 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Genesis 3:1-6 1在耶和華　神所造野地所有的活物中，蛇是最狡猾的。蛇對女人說：「 神真的說過，你們不可吃園中任何樹上的果子嗎？」 2女人對蛇說:「園中樹上的果子，我們都可以吃；3只有園中那棵樹上的果子， 神曾經說過：『你們不可吃，也不可摸，免得你們死。』」 1Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’”

I. Why We Sin? (The Reason)

Genesis 2 16耶和華　神吩咐那人(亞當)說：「園中各樣樹上的果子，你都可以吃；17只是那知善惡樹的果子，你不可吃；因為你吃的時候，你必要死」 16 The LORD God commanded the man (Adam), saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” 可以吃、吃＝必吃 =可隨意吃 eat eat =surely eat =freely eat 你必定死、死 ＝ 必死 you will die die = surely die Genesis 3 2女人對蛇說:「園中樹上的果子，我們都可以吃(吃only 1x)；3只有園中那棵樹上的果子， 神曾經說過：『你們不可吃，也不可摸 (多出來的)，免得你們死 (死 only 1x )』」2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat (eat only 1x); 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it (extra), or you will die (die only 1x).’”

不是得到判斷善惡的能力 Did not get the Ability to Discern Right vs. Wrong 而是要自己來分別善惡的「意願」 或說「慾望」而已 But merely the Desire to Discern Right vs. Wrong based on our own standards

True Love 真愛 Loving Relationship愛的關係 Free Will 自由意志

Sin = off target / miss the mark 罪 ＝ 沒有射中紅心 (not the same as crime)

Genesis 3:7-9 7二人的眼睛就開了，才知道自己是赤身露體的。於是把無花果樹的葉子編縫起來，為自己做裙子。8天起涼風的時候，那人和他的妻子聽見耶和華　神在園中行走的聲音，就藏在園子的樹林中，躲避耶和華　神的面。9耶和華　神呼喚那人，對他說：「你在哪裡？」7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings. 8 They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?”

Genesis 3:10-13 10他回答：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，就害怕；因為我赤身露體，就藏了起來。」11耶和華　神說：「誰告訴你，你是赤身露體呢？難道你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子嗎？」12那人說：「你所賜給我、和我在一起的那女人，她把樹上的果子給我，我就吃了。」13耶和華　神對女人說：「你作了甚麼事呢？”女人說：“那蛇欺哄我，我就吃了。」 10 He said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” 11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Genesis 3:10-13 10他回答：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我(x2)赤身露體，我就藏了起來。」11耶和華　神說：「誰告訴你，你是赤身露體呢？難道你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子嗎？」12那人說：「你所賜給我、和我在一起的那女人，她把樹上的果子給我，我就吃了。」13耶和華　神對女人說：「你作了甚麼事呢？”女人說：“那蛇欺哄我，我就吃了。」 10 He said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I (x2) was naked; so I hid myself.” 11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Genesis 3:17-19 17耶和華　神又對亞當說：“因為你聽從了你妻子的話，吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子；地就必因你的緣故受咒詛；你必終生勞苦，才能從地裡得吃的。18地要給你長出荊棘和蒺藜來；你也要吃田間的蔬菜；19你必汗流滿面，才有飯吃，直到你歸回地土，因為你是從地土取出來的；你既然是塵土，就要歸回塵土。” 17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you;  through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

Why Does a good God allow Bad Things to Happen? Sin entered the world - Human Mismanagement 人禍   - Natural Disaster 天災  Result of Human Mismanagement 人為/不當的管理  True Natural Disaster 真正的天災 (Earth was cursed)

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.
