Email from Pastor Ting Loong in Kathmandu, April 27, 2015 The earthquake struck after we had finished our church service on Saturday, and the brothers and sisters were going home. As I exited the main door, it struck. Everyone panicked because the earth shook violently for 15 to 30 seconds. The buildings and trees were swaying and moving violently. When it subsided we ran to open space. Moments later, there were many strong aftershocks. 靠着雅伟神的恩典，房子没有倒塌。当地震发生时，Christine 正在和一位姊妹谈话；她立刻衝出来。地震停止后，我们跑到空旷的地方。过了一会，还有许多强烈的余震。

One church lost half its members as the building collapsed while they were worshipping. A sister from our church lost her sister and six other relatives.
