I. Our faith is not in an empty religion 我们的信仰不是一個空洞的宗教 (太 Matt 15:8-9) 8 “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. (Ref: Isa 29:13) 8『這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我‧9他們將人的吩咐，當作道理教導人，所以拜我也是枉然‧』

Empty religion: Fake believers 空洞宗教: 假基督徒 (太 15:8-9) Religious rituals (宗教儀式) Lip service only (只用嘴唇) Hearts far from God (心遠離神) Replace God’s truths with man’s rules (以人的教導取代神的真理) Worship in vain (枉然敬拜)

II. God seeks true worshipers 神尋找真正的敬拜者 (約 John 4:23-24) 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” 23時候將到，如今就是了，那真正拜父的，要用心靈和誠實拜他，因為父要這樣的人拜他‧24神是個靈, 所以拜他的，必須用心靈和誠實拜他‧

III. True believers encounters God 真正的基督徒是經历神的人 (賽 Isa 43:19) “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.” (NASB) 看哪，我要做一件新事，如今要發現，你們豈不知道麼‧我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河‧

IV. God does not have; He is. 神並非只擁有; 祂就是 IV. God does not have; He is! 神並非只擁有; 祂就是! (來 Heb 11:6; 出 Ex 4:13; 約 John 14:6) And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (來 Heb 11:6, NASB, NKJV) 人非有信就不能得神的喜悅‧因為到神面前來的人，必須信有神 (祂就是)，且信他賞賜那尋求他的人‧

A. God’s name is “I AM” 神的名字叫 “我就是” (出 Ex 3:14) God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” (NIV) 神對摩西說，我是自有永有的‧又說，你要對以色列人這樣說，那自有的打發我到你們這裡來‧

D. The meaning of “I AM” “我就是” 的意義 Present tense (現在式) Timeless, eternal truth. (永恆不變的真理) The first cause (第一因) The source and power of all things (e.g., life, blessing, salvation, etc) (一切的源頭与能力) (生命, 祝福, 拯救) He is the standard and value (祂是标準, 價值) His laws govern everything (祂的律掌管一切) When we have God, we have what “He Is.” (有了神, 就有了” 祂就是.”)

E. It’s all about Him 祂是一切的中心 (西 Col 1:16b) Everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. (Msg) 一概都是藉著他造的，又是為他造的‧

V. When you have God, you have what “He Is”! 當你有了神, 你就有了 ” 祂就是.” (加 Gal 2:20b) “Christ lives in me.” “基督在我裡面活着.”

VI. Only faith can please God 唯有信心能得神的喜悅 (來 Heb 11:1,6; 罗 Rom 1:16-17) And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (來 Heb 11:6, NASB, NKJV) 人非有信就不能得神的喜悅‧因為到神面前來的人，必須信有神 (祂就是)，且信他賞賜那尋求他的人‧

Who are we and what are we living for? 我是誰? 我為什麼活着? (弗 Eph 1:11) It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Msg) 我們也在他裡面得了基業，這原是那位隨己意行作萬事的，照著他旨意所預定的‧

We’ll know who we are and why we are here after knowing and accepting who God (Christ) is. 在我們認識並接受神(基督)是誰之後我们就能知道我們是誰及我們為什麼活在這裡. His world (祂的世界) His rule/truth (祂的規則/真理) His plan (祂的計劃) His purpose (祂的目的) His design (祂的設計) Theo-centric world view (神為中心的世界觀)

Accept and work within God’s law allow us to reach our full potential Physical Laws (物理定理) Law of gravity (萬有引力) Airplane (飛机) Rocket (飛彈) Space shuttle (太空船) Moral Laws (道德律) Principle of fairness (公平原理) Sow and reap (种与收) (Both)

VII. Manifestation of Faith 信心的表達 (羅 Rom 10:16-17, 21) 16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”i 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ….21 But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.” 16只是人沒有都聽從福音‧因為以賽亞說，『主阿，我們所傳的有誰信呢‧』17可見信道是從聽道來的，聽道是從基督的話來的‧…21至於以色列人，他說，『我整天伸手招呼那悖逆頂嘴的百姓‧』

B. Before faith in Jesus: Dead in sin 信耶穌之前: 死在罪惡過犯中 (弗 Eph 2:1) As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins. 你們死在過犯罪惡之中. Death = Separation (死亡 = 分隔) Separation from God (source of life and power) (与神分隔) (神就是生命源頭与能力) (傳 Ecc. 3:11)

羅 Rom 8:16-17 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (NIV) 16聖靈與我們的心同證我們是神的兒女‧17既是兒女，便是後嗣，就是神的後嗣，和基督同作後嗣‧如果我們和他一同受苦，也必和他一同得榮耀‧

IX. We must live out our new identity in Christ 基督徒須活出在主裡的新身份 (Sanctification: 成聖, 成長) (來 Heb 11:1; 林後 2Co 6:17; 彼前 1Pet 2:9) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (來 Heb 11:1, NASB) 信就是所望之事的實底，是未見之事的確據‧

Example of Paul 保羅的榜樣 (林前 1 Cor 15:10) But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 然而我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的‧並且他所賜我的恩，不是徒然的‧我比眾使徒格外勞苦‧這原不是我，乃是神的恩與我同在‧
