2) 定冠词加上姓氏的复数也可表示 “××一家人”或“××夫妇二人”。 the Smith family也可表达为the Smiths。如: the Brown family = the Browns 布朗一家 the Green family = the Greens 格林一家 【注意】这两个短语都不可丢掉定冠 词the。

3. She is a bus driver. 她是一位公共汽车司机。 a bus driver意为“公共汽车司机”,是一种职业名称。 driver的动词形式为drive,意为“驾驶”。例如: My English teacher usually drives to school. 我的英语老师通常开车去学校。
