“ 插画 ” 是一种结合艺术创作与文字，非语言和语言的艺术表现，有着 “ 叙说 ” 内在思维的传播性本质。 “ 亚洲插画艺术节 ” 透过每年主题式策展，向国内外插画创作者、艺术家邀请与征集作品展出。打造了一個插画 的平台来串连亚洲不同的城市与国际接轨。 第一屆 “ 亚洲插画艺术节 ” 主题：「森林, 宇宙, 兔子洞」 对于多数的创作者、艺术家而言，创作是落实想像力的一种途径，像一颗种子，经过想像力的灌溉，一 下就长出一颗大树，进而长成一片森林。所创造出的世界总是天马行空，伴随着想像与创意，展现出千 变万化的风貌，像一座森林一样富多样性且有生命力。亚洲这块土地有着悠长的历史，各个城市与地区 本身皆蕴含多元文化，丰富的多样性透过对照就如一座森林一样有深意。亚洲在当代艺术与设计的领域， 这些森林也开始茁壮，至今也发展出各自的山头，也透过自身文化延伸的出各种新的面貌。 当我们有机会进到不同亚洲地区创作者所创造出的世界里，透过展览，将这些森林汇聚在一起，交织呈 现，这些展出的作品都将转化成一种同质性相似的文化，彼此有细微特色却又更为深刻的。这些插画的 作品内容、形式，透过时间空间的混合，艺术家的想像力发展出一个又一个的星系，多到可以创造出宇 宙，一个格外具有重要亚洲特质的宇宙。这次的展会就像是一个兔子洞，打开了进入另一个世界的入口， 在爱丽丝梦游仙境里，爱丽丝因为跟着兔子，掉进了兔子洞里的幻境。在那个奇幻世界里，一切充满了 荒谬的对话与情节，像一场又一场奇幻的冒险，却有着最真实的人生趣味。你准备好跳进屬於你自己的 兔子洞了吗？
