電漿面板(PDP) 有機電激發光 顯示面板(OLED) 微型顯示器 (Microdisplay) 真空顯示器(VFD) Microdisplay (微型顯示器)：應用於投影機、背投電視等。 OLED (有機發光二極體)(Organic Light Emitting Diode) VFD (真空管光顯示器，亦稱螢光顯示幕)(Vacuum fluorescent display)：應用於音響、錄放影機等。

8 發光原理 TFT-LCD面板為在兩片平行的玻璃中放置液晶，上層為彩色濾光片基板，下層為薄膜電晶體基板，透過電壓調控液晶旋轉的方向，改變光線明暗的變化。

21 生產製程(manufacturing process)
TFT-LCD的生產製程可分為三個主要製程：Array、Cell、Module 因為製程特性不同，因而分為Array、Cell、Module三個廠區。 通常ArrayCell為連續製程，不會有不同世代互相調撥之情形。 各製程之主要限制： Array—產能限制 (最重要，因設備十分昂貴) Cell—產能限制 (通常產能會比Array大) Module—物料限制 (物料Lead time長)

Production System Level： 依據每個生產廠區所從事的生產製程不同，展開成以工作站或機台為單位而構成生產系統。

TFT-LCD生產鏈的生產策略一般採行接單後組裝模式。(Assemble to Order；ATO) Push-Pull Boundary在 Cell 與 Module 製程間的半成品庫存區。
