上帝愛世人。人願意悔改,就會赦免。  Nineveh I won’t go. I don’t want them to repent. And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying: “Arise, go unto Nineveh,…” (3:1-2) God loves all people. If we are willing to repent, God will forgive.

12 那鴻 Nahum 尼尼微 耶和華是忌邪施報的神。耶和華施報大有忿怒;向他的敵人施報,向他的仇敵懷怒。 耶和華不輕易發怒,大有能力,萬不以有罪的為無罪。 (1:2-3)  Nineveh The LORD is a jealous and avenging God, the LORD avengeth and is full of wrath; the LORD taketh vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies. The LORD is long-suffering, and great in power, and will by no means clear the guilty (1:2-3)

Complaint: Why allow evil? (1:2) God’s Answer: Chaldeans to punish (1:6) Complaint: Why use those wicked people? (1:13) Finally expression of faith in God. (3:17-18) For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls; Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will exult in the God of my salvation. (3:17-18)

當那日,必有話向耶路撒冷說:不要懼怕!錫安哪;不要手軟!耶和華你的神是施行拯救、大有能力的主。他在你中間必因你歡欣喜樂,默然愛你,且因你喜樂而歡呼。 (3:16-17)  Judah Judgment and Hope I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the earth, saith the LORD. (1:2) In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: 'Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack. The LORD thy God is in the midst of thee, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over thee with joy, He will be silent in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.' (3:16-17)

17 瑪拉基 Malachi 重新建國 耶和華說:「我曾愛你們。」 你們卻說:「你在何事上愛我們呢?」(1:2)
方法:人問問題,上帝回答… 耶和華說:「我曾愛你們。」 你們卻說:「你在何事上愛我們呢?」(1:2) 你們卻說:『我們在何事上藐視你的名呢?』(1:7) 人豈可奪取神之物呢?你們竟奪取我的供物。 你們卻說:『我們在何事上奪取你的供物呢?』 就是你們在當納的十分之一和當獻的供物上。 (3:8)  post-exile Method: Man asks questions, God responds God: I have loved you, Yet ye say: 'Wherein hast Thou loved us?' (1:2) And ye say: 'Wherein have we polluted thee?' (1:7) Will a man rob God? Yet ye rob Me. But ye say: 'Wherein have we robbed Thee?' In tithes and heave-offerings. (3:8)
