We always search information on the internet through search engines.

9 什麼是搜索引擎？ What is search engines?
搜索引擎作為搜索工具，是網站上旨在幫助人們查找 存儲在其他網站上的信息的特殊網站。 Search engines as an instrument of searching, are special sites on the Web that are designed to help people find information stored on other sites.

10 互聯網上的每個普通用戶都必須具備有 關搜索引擎和搜索的良好知識以便更廣 泛地探索互聯網創造的美好世界。
Every ordinary user on the Internet must have good knowledge about search engines and searching in order to explore the world that the Internet creates to a greater extent.

彼得是新來港中學生，他兩個月前來到 香港。他的爺爺要他今天去香港國際機 場，接姨母嘉莉的飛機。爺爺只給他一 張卡，只有姨母林嘉莉的名字和她的航 班號碼。 Peter is a newly-arrived student who came to Hong Kong just 2 months ago. His grandpa asks him to go to the Hong Kong International Airport and pick up Auntie Carrie today. Grandpa just gives him a card with just Auntie Carrie’s name and her flight number written on it. 29 搜索步驟 Searching Steps 1 選擇搜索引擎。Select a search engine.
在瀏覽器的任何頁面（您打開使用互聯網的窗口） 的頂部，在搜索欄中輸入 “搜索引擎”，然後選 擇一種搜索引擎。 At the top of any page on your browser (the window that you open to use the internet), type the phrase “search engines” into the Search Bar, then you can select a search engine Ask Bing Baidu Dogpile

Choose a few of the most specific or relevant keywords or phrases to describe your topic.  Type the words into the Search Bar offered by your chosen search engine. Generally, capitalization and punctuation are not needed. Search engines usually disregard minor words such as "the, and, to, etc."

37 Google搜索有時不會展示您期望的內容。在 這種情況下，運用簡單字詞可能不是最好的 選擇。正如谷歌本身所說，最好的方法是從 簡單的方式開始，然後逐漸加入搜索字變得 更加複雜。見下面的例子。
There will come a time when Google search doesn’t shovel out the results you expect. In this instance, keeping it simple may not be the best option. As Google itself suggests, the best method is to start with something simple then gradually get more complicated. See the example below.

首先嘗試：時尚理髮 First try: Trendy Haircut 第二嘗試：男士時尚理髮 Second try: Trendy Haircut for men 第三次嘗試：男士時尚理髮 2017 Third try: Trendy Haircut for men 2017 這逐步縮小搜尋範圍的方法會為您帶來更針對性的資料。但你不應直接 從第一次跳到第三次，原因是你可能會錯過第二步找到的資料。 This will gradually refine the search to bring you fewer, more targeted terms. The reason you don’t go straight from the first try to the third try is because you may miss what you’re looking for by skipping the second step.

When you search for a keyword with a search engine, it may come up with more than a thousand valid website. How can we tell which is reliable and which are not?
