And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain; 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and gashing himself with stones.

8 Matthew 馬太 8: 他們喊叫：“　神的兒子，我們跟你有甚麼關係呢？時候還沒有到，你就來這裡叫我們受苦嗎？” 30那時遠遠有一大群豬正在吃東西。31那些鬼就求耶穌，說：“如果要趕我們出來，就准我們進到豬群裡去吧。” 32耶穌對他們說：“出去吧！”他們就出來，進了豬群。那一群豬忽然闖下山崖，掉在海裡淹死了。 29 And they cried out, saying, “What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” 30 Now there was a herd of many swine feeding at a distance from them. 31 The demons began to entreat Him, saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine.” 32 And He said to them, “Go!” And they came out and went into the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.
