3 實驗室簡介 本實驗室創始於2001年，並以行動通訊網路之改良及其應用於為主要研究方向，探索實際需求的應用服務，開發並設計其核心技術來解決問題，並以維持高品質之研究為目標。 實驗室以行動通訊網路為研究主軸 例如：GSM, GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA, LTE, WiMAX, Femtocell。 歷經數年下來，總共發表了47篇國際期刊，25篇國際會議論文及獲得9項專利並有21項專利正在申請中。 實驗室概況 博士班學生3位 碩士班學生4位

6 實驗室特色 本實驗室與美國MIT，Princeton University of Florida 和加拿大 University of Waterloo 等名校實驗室有良好合作關係，可有與國外優秀學者交流的機會。 本實驗室理論與實務並重，除了發表許多高品質的研究論文外，並且實作許多具有高度應用性的軟體系統，積極參與各項比賽與展覽。 寒暑假定期與交通大學舉辦數天之訓練課程，讓新生與研究生可以獲得研究與實作上充足的訓練。 本實驗室經常舉辦各項聚餐與慶生活動，實驗室氣氛融洽。

7 未來方向 業界發展 手機通訊協定、應用程式研發工程師 (例如:聯發科、宏達電)。本實驗室畢業之碩博士班學生約有半數以上任職於聯發科與宏達電。 電信通訊網路研究單位(例如:中華電信、工研院)。本實驗室畢業學生中有多位於中華電信與工研院研究所任職。 學術發展 本實驗室有接近半數之碩士班畢業生，繼續攻讀本系博士班或國外知名大學（例如:USC）就讀。
