I can recap and narrate Lesson 11, Dialogue 1 I can use the modal verb,会 huì (will), to indicate an anticipated event or action.

2 今天是晴天。 是 is 今天是雨天。 明天会下雨。 会 will/is going to 明天会下雪。 shì huì xià yǔ
huì xià xuě 明天会下雪。 是 is 会 will/is going to 。

3 吹 明天会出太阳。 blow come out the sun Chuī fēng 风 dà fēng大风 huì chū tài yáng

4 yīn tiān 阴天 cloudy guā fēng 刮 风windy guā fēng 阵 风 gust fēng dà 风 大

5 会 huì (modal verb) will 他说他晚上会给你发短信。
to indicate an anticipated event or action Tā shuō tā wǎnshang huì gěi nǐ fā duǎnxìn. 他说他晚上会给你发短信。 He said he will send you a text message this evening.

6 会 huì (modal verb) will A: 你周末做什么？ B: 我周末会去滑冰。
to indicate an anticipated event or action Nǐ zhōumò zuò shénme? A: 你周末做什么？ What will you do this weekend? Wǒ zhōumò huì qù huábīng B: 我周末会去滑冰。 I’ll go ice skating this weekend.

7 会 huì (modal verb) will A: 你明年做什么？ B: 我明年会去英国学英文。
to indicate an anticipated event or action Nǐ míngnián zuò shénme? A: 你明年做什么？ What will you do next year? Wǒ míngnián huì qù Yīngguó xué Yīngwén B: 我明年会去英国学英文。 I’ll go to Britain to learn English next year.

8 The negative form of 会 (huì) is 不会 (bú huì):
Tiānqì yùbào shuō zhè ge zhōumò bú huì xià xuě. 天气预报说这个周末不会下雪。 The weather forecast says that it won’t snow this weekend. x

9 The negative form of 会 (huì) is 不会 (bú huì):
Xiǎo Wáng juéde bù shūfu, jīntiān bú huì lái huá bīng le. 小王觉得不舒服，今天不会来滑冰了。 Little Wang is not feeling well. He won’t come ice skating today after all.

10 不但…而且 bú dàn…ér jiě (not only…but also)
