Introduction *function of presentations: present (A) information or (B) opinions to audience 做簡報/演講的作用: 向觀眾介紹(A)資料或是(B)說明 意見 EX. “An Inconvenient Truth”, Al Gore’s talk about global warming (溫室效應) 以一部電影“An Inconvenient Truth”中的演講者Al Gore為例子… (A) shows key elements of any presentation 顯示任何簡報/演講的主要元素 (B) shows the importance of connecting with the audience 顯示(演講者)跟觀眾建立良好關係／達成共識的重要 性。

3 (II.) First Paragraph 電影中的情況: Al Gore (A) uses slides to explain the effects of global warming. 演講者使用投影片來解釋溫室效應的效果 (B) tries to persuade audience to take action. 演講者試著說服觀眾採取動作 KEY ELEMENTS: (1) presenter, (2) topic, and (3) audience. 主要元素: (1) 演講者, (2) 主題, 和 (3) 觀眾
