2 Corinthians 5:18, “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” 歌林多後書 5:18,“ 一 切 都 是 出 於 神 ； 他 藉 着 基 督 使 我 们 与 他 和 好 ， 又 将 劝 人 与 他 和 好 的 职 分 赐 给 我 们 。” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (NKJV), “1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “ In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” 歌林多後書 6:1-2,“1 我 们 与 神 同 工 的 ， 也 劝 你 们 不 可 徒 受 他 的 恩 典 。 2 因 为 他 说 ： 在 悦 纳 的 时 候 ， 我 应 允 了 你 ； 在 拯 救 的 日 子 ， 我 搭 救 了 你 。 看 哪 ！ 现 在 正 是 悦 纳 的 时 候 ； 现 在 正 是 拯 救 的 日 子 。”

The work of the Reconciling Ministry 和好职分的工作 (2 Cor.歌林多後書 6:1-2) Restoration (Isaiah 49:8) “ This is what the LORD says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.” (以 賽 亞 書 49:8) 8 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 在 悦 纳 的 时 候 ， 我 应 允 了 你 ； 在 拯 救 的 日 子 ， 我 济 助 了 你 。 我 要 保 护 你 ， 使 你 作 众 民 的 中 保 （ 中 保 ： 原 文 是 约 ） ； 复 兴 遍 地 ， 使 人 承 受 荒 凉 之 地 为 业 。

Restoration (Luke 4:18-19)   18"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, 19to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." 路加福音 4:16-19 18 主 的 灵 在 我 身 上 ， 因 为 他 用 膏 膏 我 ， 叫 我 传 福 音 给 贫 穷 的 人 ； 差 遣 我 报 告 ： 被 掳 的 得 释 放 ， 瞎 眼 的 得 看 见 ， 叫 那 受 压 制 的 得 自 由 ， 19 报 告 神 悦 纳 人 的 禧 年 。

The work of the Reconciling Ministry 和好职分的工作 (2 Cor.歌林多後書 6:1-2) God’s Fellow workers 与神同工的工人 (1 Corinthians 3:9, NKJV), “ For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.” (歌 林 多 前 書 3:9), “因 为 我 们 是 与 神 同 工 的 ； 你 们 是 神 所 耕 种 的 田 地 ， 所 建 造 的 房 屋 。” The grace of God (I Cor. 15:10) (1 Corinthians 15:10), “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (歌 林 多 前 書 15:10), “然 而 ， 我 今 日 成 了 何 等 人 ， 是 蒙 神 的 恩 才 成 的 ， 并 且 他 所 赐 我 的 恩 不 是 徒 然 的 。 我 比 众 使 徒 格 外 劳 苦 ； 这 原 不 是 我 ， 乃 是 神 的 恩 与 我 同 在 。”

Jonathan Goforth ( 顧約拿單 ), February 10, 1859 – October 8, 1936, was the first Canadian Presbyterian missionary to China with his wife, Rosalind (Bell-Smith) Goforth. Jonathan Goforth became the foremost missionary revivalist in early 20th century China and helped to establish revivalism as a major element in Protestant China missions.
