形容词的比较等级 1. 大多数形容词有三个等级。 a. 原级即原形,如big(大)。 b. 比较级表示 “ 较…… ” 或 “ 更…… 一些 ” 的意思。 如: bigger(更大) c.最高级表示 “最……”的意思。 如: biggest(最大)
2. 形容词的比较级用法 a. 两种人或事物进行比较时, 用 “形容词比较级 + than”。 The sun is bigger than the moon. This cake is more delicious than that one. 形容词比较级可用much, still, a little, even等词来修饰。
3.形容词最高级的用法 表示三者或三者以上 ( 人或事物 ) 的比较, 用最高级。最高级前面一般 加定冠词the, 后面可带短语来说明比 较的范围。 如: Mary is the youngest of the three girls. English is one of the most important subjects in middle school.
形容词比较级和最高级的变化规则 1. 一般情况下加-er 或-est : young-yonger-yongest old –older -oldest 2. 以字母e结尾的形容词,加-r 或- st nice –nicer-nicest safe –safer -safest 3. 重读闭音节词只有一个辅音字母时,应先双写辅音字母,再 加-er或-est. big—bigger -biggest fat—fatter-fattest 4. 以 “辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词,先改“y”为“i”,再加-er 或-est. early-earlier-earliest thirsty-thirstier-thirstiest

形容词和副词比较级的用法 Who runs faster, he or she? He runs faster than she. 1.表示两者之间的选择, 可用“Which/Who … + 比较,…or…?”. Who runs faster, he or she? 2.表示两者之间的比较,通常用连词 than 引导, 表示“更······一些”. He runs faster than she. 3.much/far/a lot, even ,still ,a little/a bit … 修饰比较级,表示程度. He runs much faster than she.
4. “比较级+and+比较级”表示“越来越……” He becomes healthier and healthier. Shanghai is becoming more and more modern. 5. “the+比较级 , the + 比较级”表示“ 越…, 越 …” The more you exercise, the healthier you will be. 6. 表示不及另一方时,用“less+原级+than…” (双音节和多音节词) He is healthier than she. She is less healthy than he.
形容词的最高级的用法 (1) 表示 “最……之一” 的句式,要用 one of the +形容词最高级+复数名词。 例如:Jingjiang Hotel is one of the biggest hotels in our city. Lisa is not of my best friends. (2) 当最高级前面有物主代词或名词所有格时, 不加定冠词 the。 例如:Tom is Lucy’s best friend. Tuesday is her busiest day.
(3) 最高级前可加序数词。 例如:The Yellow River is the second longest river in China. (4) 形容最高级修饰作表语或介词宾语的名 词,代词时,被修饰的词往往省略。 例如:He is the laziest (student) in our class.

比较级、最高级的用法 1.原级:可用very, quite, so, too,等词修饰. e.g Jim is very tall. 2.比较级:可用much ,many ,a lot ,a little ,a bit 等修饰.其主要句型有: ⑴比较级+than e.g Mary is much younger than Sue. ⑵疑问句+动词+比较级,AorB? e.g Who draws better ,Tom or Jim? ⑶ Which …like better, A or B? e.g Which do you like better ,maths or English? ⑷ 比较级+ and+比较级,表示越来越…e.g the days are getting shorter and shorter.
⑸ the +比较级 , the + 比较级,表示越…越… e.g he says ,”the busier ,the better.” 3.最高级 : 形容词的最高级要加定冠词the , 副词最高级可省略the, 主要句型有: ⑴ the + 最高级 + of in Jim works hardest of us all. e.g My mother is the busiest in my family ⑵ 疑问词+ 动词+ 最高级 ⑶ which …like best, A, B or C?
