教材分析 (一)本课的地位和作用Analysis of the material 本单元的话题是“取得成就的优秀女性”,通过介绍几位不同国度、不同时代、不同职业、不同理想与追求、不同经历的杰出女性,探讨女性对社会、对人类的价值和贡献,展示女性的风采和她们在社会各个领域的成就。学习本单元有助于提高对妇女社会角色的认识,了解成功女性的奋斗经历和勇于斗争的精神,培养学生(尤其是女生)的事业心和社会责任感,建立正确的性别观和自信心。本课时是本单元的第一课时,内容包括热身(Warming Up),读前(Pre-reading),阅读(Reading)和理解(Comprehending)四个部分。其中阅读部分以“非洲野生动物保护者”为题,分别从研究工作的内容、困难和取得的成就等方面介绍了Jane Goodall在非洲原始森林中工作的情况,赞扬了她为保护野生动物,尤其是非洲黑猩猩所做出的贡献。此部分提供了本单元的主要阅读语篇,载有本单元话题“取得成就的女性”的重要信息,且呈现了本单元的大部分的词汇和主要语法结构。 (二)教学重点和教学难点Key points and difficult points To develop students’ reading skills, such as guessing the general idea according to the pictures and the title, finding the key words or sentences for different questions and retelling the story of Jane Goodall after reading.

学生情况分析 本节课是主体是高一的学生,通过初中及高一阶段的英语学习,本班学生已经掌握了初步的英语听说读写技巧,有一定的接受力、理解力、表达力和良好的学习习惯。但大部分学生的基础仍然较为薄弱,运用英语进行交际活动的能力较差;此外,从历次考试看,学生普遍存在阅读速度慢,正确率不高的特点。然而他们学习态度端正,渴望学好英语,好胜心强,渴望得到他人的认可,很在乎别人对他们的评价;求知欲旺盛,思维比较活跃;他们有着高中生独立、爱表现自我的特点等。因此,只有设置使他们感兴趣的活动,因材施教,才能使他们积极主动地参与英语课堂教学。

教学目标分析(Teaching aims) 五“动”五“能”! 1、 Knowledge aims(知识目标): ①To learn how to use the mastery words, phrases and sentence patterns; ②To learn sth about Jane’s research. 2、 Ability aims(能力目标): ①Improve the students’ listening ability (提高学生听的能力) ② Train the students’speaking ability by describing, talking and discussion(通过描述、交流和讨论,培养学生组织语言、运用语言的能力 ) ③To develop students’ reading skills, such as guessing the general idea according to the pictures and the title, finding the key words or sentences for different questions and retelling the story of Jane Goodall after reading.(提高学生阅读能力) 3、 Emotional aims(德育目标): ①To learn Jane’s bravery and perseverance in achieving her goals; Train the students ( especially girl students’) self-confideence, dedication and the sense of responsibility.(培养学生尤其是女生的自信心和责任感) ②To reinforce the sense of wildlife protection. 教学反思 本课的设计是以任务型教学为主,在设计的过程中,从以下几个方面入手:导入新课;读前热身;跳读;略读;精读;巩固知识。设计的教学活动环环相扣,过渡自然,步骤流畅,整个教学活动紧扣主题。本节课从教学效果来看,基本上达到了教学目标的要求,能够在游戏竞赛的大方案下,采用任务型教学法,并采用合作法,小组讨论法,听说法和交际法实施课堂活动。达到激发兴趣,愉快学习的效果。 鉴于学生自信心不足这一事实,我在课堂上尽量使用一些简单的日常交际用语,如:“What’s your opinion?” “What do you think of……” “Why do you think so?” “Yes or no?” “ Who want to try?” 等等。强化了师生之间,生生之间的交际。并且在学生学习过程中始终表扬、鼓励学生,树立学生自信心。 对于这一节课,我们所看重的是学生的表现,老师在其中只是一个主持人或者说是裁判员。当然,学生出色的表现还需要老师好的导演。这就要求老师在游戏中组织好各环节,并在评分是公平,公正,公开。令我高兴的是,学生的表现也出乎我的意料。这让我深切的感受到激发学生兴趣的必要性和老师作为引导者的重要性。同时,这一节课也还有很多需要改进的地方: 第一,对新课程的理论把握得不是很细致。第二,虽然整体课堂效果还不错,但还是没有完全调动起部分基础差的学生的积极性;第三, 课堂时间把握的不是很好。 改进措施:第一,多看书,吸收足够理论知识指导课堂实践;第二,多听课,通过多听别的老师的课,学习别人的课堂技巧,提炼自己的课堂用语,。第三,认真学习多媒体课件的制作,提高其技术含量;第四,把新课程整套教材在认真仔细钻研一遍。总之今后要好好了解学生,刻苦钻研教材,虚心求教,努力取得好成绩。
