泰國企業獎勵旅遊 推廣方案 2009 - 2010 Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau So, just to put TCEB in context, TCEB is really Thailand’s equivalent of a Convention and Visitor Bureaux, which are established at national level in most countries to support their domestic MICE sectors in various ways. And as I’m sure most of you will already know, Thailand’s MICE industry has undergone phenomenal growth over the past 5 years or so, and its contribution is not only important in terms of its significant economic contribution to GDP, but is also important to our national image as a whole. Today we have a mature MICE sector with world-class venues, professional support services and a highly competitive price point, which is why Thailand is already highly regarded as a global MICE destination. And TCEB was established, of course, to consolidate and extend the competencies and global reach of our partners in the private sector, so that we can build on the industry’s many accomplishments thus far. The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau will be used as a case study to illustrate how Governments could champion and facilitate the development and growth of the MICE industry and promote the economy as a premier MICE destionatiion.
