本课教材内容 + +
课堂片段1 a clip of class #1 Can I join you? The teacher’s joining in the game not only heats the atmosphere of the class, it helps the students concentrate on the game more. Joining is actually inviting.
课堂片段2 a clip of class #2 Well Done to _______. When I said this to the student who finishes the game first, he just smiles a big smile, obviously proud of himself. Cheering this student is encouraging the rest of the class and making sure the climax of the class is reached.
课后反思Reflections on this class Many students complain that they forget words shortly after they are presented. Vocabulary game is a way to reverse forgetting. Games help solidify new words in long-term memory by creating regular opportunities in their learning program that encourage students to make connection of new vocabulary items. The difficulty of the games is adjustable. To make it easier, name it “say 2 things”; to make it more difficult, “say 4 things”. In this way, the teacher can make the class atmosphere orderly and controllable.
