(II.) First Paragraph (Shannon 與其經理都同意公司的員工使用MSN) *helps us do our work 在工作方面協助我們 *contacting someone by MSN or Skype is faster than by email 透過MSN或是Skype連絡某人必傳電子郵件更快。 eg. Hold meetings with branch office in Japan on Skype 透過Skype,跟日本分公司開會 *Ok chat with friends, if not distract from work 如果不會使得他們分心,可以跟朋友聊一下。
(III.) Second Paragraph (Brandon 與其經理都不同意公司的員工使用MSN) 經理的觀點 *does not allow employees to use MSN 不允許員工使用MSN *because employees will spend a lot of time chatting with friends/ NOT work! 員工花很多時間跟朋友在MSN聊天/不工作
Brandon的觀點 *Managers should trust employees! 經理應該相信員工! 補充說明: It’s a question of trust 是指跟信任有關聯的 (中翻英時/無須翻question) *Managers should believe that employees are (A) responsible and (B) accountable to their employers. 經理應該相信員工是(A)負責任的和 (B)對他們的雇主有責任感的 補充說明: (A) responsible and (B) accountable 皆可翻為有責任感的/負責人的
*Managers can’t control employees all the time. 經理不能隨時掌控他們的員工。
