3 Where is e-Textbook? Please click on page 5 to find Module Learning Guide in the right panel under Handouts in the first module. Please save and download to print out for off line learning. Module Learning Guide and notes is your digital text book. At the same time, you can copy and paste to save some important notes for off line learning too. For example on page 2 and 3, there are many characters with pinyin and English translation. You will need to install Chinese simplified (PRC) in your keyboard. Please learn on page 4 of How to install Chinese pinyin in Welcome to Chinese folder in the content area.

Lesson 47 Olympic Reading comprehension – select the correct after reading. 我是王明。I am Wang Ming. (wo shi wang ming) 在2008年北京奥运会的时候, At Beijing Olympics in 2008 (zai er ling ling ba nian bei jing ao yun hui de shi hou) 我来中国当志愿者。I came to China as a volunteer. (wo lai zhong guo dang zhi yuan zhe) 那时候我不会汉语，I did not speak Chinese at that time. (na shi hou wo bu hui han yu) 只会英语。I only speak English. (zhi hui ying yu) 我还学过一点儿西班牙语。I also learned a little Spanish. (wo hai xue guo yi dian er xi ban ya yu) PS: It may have the different name in a real quiz.

(wo can jia le bei jing ao yun hui kai mu shi) 开幕式太震撼了。The opening ceremony was too shocked. (kai mu shi tai zhen han le) 因为我是美国人，Because I am an American. (yin wei wo shi mei guo ren) 我参加过1996年在亚特兰大举办的奥运会。 (wo can jia guo yi jiu jiu liu nian zai ya te lan da ju ban de ao yun hui) I have participated in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. 亚特兰大市中心还有一个奥林匹克公园。 (ya ta lan da shi zhong xin hai you yi ge ao lin pi ke gong yuan.) There is an Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.
