The mouse is a most effective device used by people to communicate with a computer． For most people, it’s almost impossible to operate a computer without a mouse, let alone surf the Internet. A well-chosen mouse is really handy, flexible and convenient in controlling the screen. With the functions of inserting, deleting, moving and copying, it enables us to edit a test, browse web pages and download what we want. It can even bring us a flood of music, movies and PC games. Just imagine, all this can be done with a cute mouse.

A convenient tool can certainly make our work easier, but it doesn’t always help in a positive way. Too much ready information on our fingertips leaves little room for knowledge pursuing. Too many ready answers make us less excited in finding truth. Relying too much on mouse clicking makes us lazier and less creative both mentally and physically.（153 words）

As can be seen from the cartoon, two ladies living in the opposite flat say “hello” when they happen to meet each other. The two women don’t know each other even if they are neighbors. It is the exact reflection of interpersonal relationships in the modern world. As we all know, most people live in apartments. They dont’ like to go out after work, and they will stay at home waching TV or playing computer games. They don’t have any connections even with their closest neighbors, who seem no different from people they meet

every day in the street. So it is no good to us, nor to our society, it will make people feel more lonely. As far as I’m concerned, it’s high time that we took some measures to improve it. People who live in the same zone can often be organized to have some activities together. We should ask people to be friendly to each other. They should smile and greet each other. Then our society will become more harmonious in this way.

Describe the picture We can see in the picture that a child is burdened with heavy schoolbags as well as huge mental pressure. When he was a kid, he was expected to be able to go to a key elementary school, and later a key high school. And now he is expected to be admitted to a key university.

It may be ridiculous to cover the PC monitor with someone’s underwear, but it describes vividly parents’ distress and feelings of helplessness when they are faced with the problem. Concerned about their children’s security, some of them just cut off the access to the Internet at home -“the hardware solution”; some choose to use a certain software program to prevent their kids from getting on line –“the software solution”; others may make some rules to limit the time their children spend on the Internet -“the underwear solution”!

From my point of view, this phenomenon calls for the attention of the whole society. On one hand, the government should make laws to censor the Internet and block inappropriate sites, making it a safer place for all teenagers. On the other hand, it is better for parents to give their children a proper guide instead of just prevention. Teenagers need to be taught how to tell and resist bad information consciously. Only in this way can the Internet be made safer for the children.
