Therefore, he used the spending money to buy the first magic stage prop - - “airborne to bring in money”. 7歲那年，他便在台北百貨公司的魔術專櫃前留連往返，對奇幻魔術深深著迷。於是，他用零花钱買下了第一個魔術道具——“空中來錢”。 As soon as hereafter, he went to the magic shop everyday, the salesclerks all felt tired about him and asked him“what do you want to do??”, he said “I just want to learn”. 此後，他一放學就往這里跑，店員都被他弄煩了，”問你到底要幹麻”，他說“我想學”。

ORIGIN Therefore the salesclerk starts to teach Louis some small magic, after the long time Louis has learned more and more magic. Finally this magic store square use Louis to propagate “Looks, child can play so you also to be able to learn.” Louis didn’t know that, the magic was changing his life. 於是店員開始教劉谦一些小魔術，最後乾脆把他拉到櫃台裡作活廣告：“看嘛，小孩子都會玩你們也能學會啦。”當時的劉謙還不知道，魔術正在一點點改變他的人生軌跡。

ADHERE OF THE REASON When Louis is 12 year old , he sign up the Taiwan children magic contest, at that time he didn’t think that will take the prize, because another hundred young contestants all had the great master worker, and use some magnificent properties, but his performance only use some simple cards. 12歲那年，劉謙報名參加了台灣少兒魔術比賽，當時他並沒指望拿獎，因為其他上百位小選手都有很厲害的師父，都擺出很華麗的道具，但他的表演只有幾張紙片。 After the match, Louis at the backstage and prepares to tidy up his things to leave. ADHERE OF THE REASON Louis said this champion is effect him so much, ,because he first time realized that diligent to do anything will have the repayment, moreover still more obtained own idol Magic master David’s affirmation. 劉谦說這個冠軍對他意義非常大，因為第一次體會到努力做一件事情就會有回報，而且是得到了自己的偶像大衛·科波菲的肯定。 If he didn’t get this prize, he possibly will not be able so persist to practice the magic in the furture. 如果没有得這個獎，他日後可能不會如此堅持地練魔術。

FRUSTRATION When he was grow up , he didn’t find a suitable job , but he have to male a profit so he becomes the professional magician is the natural matter. 當他長大後，求職不順，但他必須要生活，因此成為職業魔術師是理所當然的事。 In older generation’s cerebration, plays the magic is not a decent job, not a good profession, but also has the possibility not to be able to support himself. 在老一輩的觀念裡，玩魔術是旁門左道，不是一個正當行業，還可能養不活自己。 Therefore Louis expect he can be a “good looks wage earner”, daytime is a office worker, then at night can plays or shows the magic. 因此劉謙對自己的期待是成為一個“帥氣的上班族”，白天上班，回到家玩玩魔術，高興就表演一下，不高興就不表演。

FRUSTRATION Louis don’t have choice. He discussed with his family about his future. He depend performance the magic to make money. 無奈之下，劉謙跟家裡商量他的未來，自己去靠表演魔術掙錢。 The Louis parents always are very enlightened, for instance, doesn’t interfere him to play the magic, but also was unable to restrain to worry by now. 劉謙的父母一向很開明，比如一直不干涉他玩魔術，但這時也不禁擔心起來。 The parents asked he have the long-term plan, he said “no”, asked he have the confidence, he also said “no” 父母問他有沒有長遠計劃，他說沒有，問他有沒有信心，他也說沒有。

But he said you wants to be joyfully by this profesiion is very difficult. 劉謙一夜成名後，不少人開始對魔術感興趣，並覺得這是一個有意思的行業。但劉謙坦承，這個行業的人要快樂很難。 For example , in childhood everyone saw the car to moving, the television has the image,then they will feel so cool. But when you grow up ,you will understand everything, then the pleasure will disappear. 比如說小時候，大家看到汽車跑、看到電視機有圖像，就會覺得很新奇，但是慢慢長大了解一切後，這種樂趣就沒有了。
