Task 4: Translating sentences into English 全球正变得越来越热--其主要原因是燃烧如煤、石油等化石燃料的结果。 温室气体可以让热量进入地球大气,却不让热量逸出地球大气。 随着地球大气中二氧化碳的总量上升,地球的温度也在升高,因为热量无法通过二氧化碳逸出地球。 温室效应对人类环境的影响是很严重的。 世界许多地区将变得更干燥,动植物的生命将受到严重影响,给人类带来严重后果。 据估计,到2030年,地球上的温度将上升1.5℃至4.5℃。 有些政府和公司现在认识到了全球变暖的严重性,而另一些人则行动过于迟缓。 在一些国家,四分之三的天然气白白地烧掉了。这不仅是能源的浪费,而且加剧了全球变暖。木材公司为了砍伐用于出口的大树,一直在焚烧林地,结果浓浓的烟云影响到东南亚6个国家。 温室效应的另一个原因是使用了某些气体,如氟利昂。 为了减少交通工具排放的气体,我们应当步行或骑自行车。我们还应尽量不用氟利昂。
