3 Open composition 1. 命题特点： 给出图画或一段的文字材料，让考生根据材料和图当中反映出的主旨进行合理的联想。
2.体裁：一般记叙文和议论文 3. 难点： 要求学生要正确的分析图画或材料所反映的问题，有时还要从表面看到本质。而议论文还需要学生进行提炼观点，论据充分，进行辨证的思考。

4 应注意从以下方面入手： 1.认真审体,立意选材 2.紧扣主题,内容充实 3.内容新颖,符合逻辑 4.思想健康,积极上进 5.语言准确,句型丰富 6.过度自然,结构紧扣 7.全面审核,仔细检查

13 Dear Dick, How nice to hear from you again. You want to know something going on in schools in China. In short, things have begun to improve since schools were called on to reduce learning load. I don’t know about others, but I used to have to work even at weekends doing endless homework and attending classes as well. Now I have more free time. 23 参 考 答 案 The other day, Tom was riding along the street when suddenly a car was running towards him fast. He was so frightened that he quickly turned to the left side. But it was too late. The car hit his bike and he fell off it. When the driver realized that he had caused an accident, he was so cold-blooded that he took flight with his car and was soon out of sight, leaving Tom helpless on the spot. Fortunately a passer-by happened to see what had happened and remembered the number of the car. She reported this to the police. Now the driver has been caught and will be punished for his wrong doing.

It was from a friend of his mother’s, who wanted to say Happy Birthday to his mother. “ Today is my mother’s birthday?” Lihua was a little puzzled. “ How come that I have forgotten all about it?” Lihua thought to himdelf, feeling ashamed. At the story, I got deeply shocked. It is not easy for parents to bring us up. They give us lots of love and care, while we don’t care for them enough. Now it’s never too late a realize this and show our love and care for them.
