At the same time, trees on the hills have been cut down by people. What’s worse, cars make great noises as well as give off poisonous gas and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers , which cause serious environmental pollution. (The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.) Therefore, we must face the situation and take actions/measures to solve our environmental problems. For one thing, I hope everyone can live a low-carbon life, such as use as little resource as possible, save on water and electricity , take public buses if possible in place of private cars and so on. For another thing, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
