(二)主动形式表被动含义的情况: 1 、 lock , open , sell , read , write , wash 等用作不及物动 词描述主语特征时,常用其主动形式表达被动意义,主 语通常是物,常与 easily, well 连用。 【翻译句子】 ①这支钢笔书写流畅。 ②这种月饼销售很好。 The pen writes well. This kind of moon cakes sell well.

2 、表示 “ 发生、进行 ” 的不及物动词和短语,如: happen, take place, break out, come about, occur, last (持续), come out (出版), come true (实现)等以主动形式表示被动意 义。 【翻译句子】 ①这起事故是如何发生的? ②我的梦想最终实现了。 How did this accident happen? My dream finally came true.

3 、系动词没有被动形式, 但有些表示感受、感官的连系动 词 feel, sound, taste, look, smell 等在主系表结构中常以主动 形式表示被动意义。 【翻译句子】 ①普洱茶闻起来很香( fragrant )。 ②棉花摸起来很柔软。 Puer Tea smells very fragrant. Cotton feels very soft.

4 、 need , want , require 等词后用动名词的主动形式表示 被动意义,该结构的主语通常是 “ 物 ” 。 need doing=need to be done 。 【翻译句子】 ①这些花需要浇水了。 ②房子需要修缮。 5 、( Sth. ) be worth 后面跟动名词的主动形式表示被动含 义。 【翻译句子】 ①这本书值得再看一遍。 The flowers need watering.
