introduction Lin was born in Hangzhou although her family was from Minhou, Fujian in Qing dynasty. She was the daughter of Lin Changmin (林長民) (16 September 1876 - Xinmin, Liaoning, 24 December 1925) and He Xuehuan (何雪媛) (1882–1972).

Raised in a wealthy family, she received the best education a woman could obtain at the time.

She pursued her degrees both in England and the United States She pursued her degrees both in England and the United States. She attended St Mary‘s College in London, where she became acquainted with the well known Chinese poet Xu Zhimo. Their relationship is commonly referred to a romantic anecdote(奇闻）. However, according to Lin, she had never fallen in love with Xu~~~

In April 1924, the sixty-four-year old Indian poet Tagore（泰戈尔）visited China, Lin Huiyin and Xu Zhimo worked together to do the interpretation work for Tagore, during which Lin Huiyin distinguished herself with her fluent English and also won the admiration of the great poet.

When she was 20, after a turn of rational consideration, agreed to the marriage her father set for her,and marry with liang sicheng , the son of famous scholar liang qichao . LinHuiYin and liang sicheng,they had tours to Europe and America to study architecture under the arrangement of Liang qichao. In 1928, they held their wedding in the Chinese consulate（中国领事馆） in Ottawa（渥太华） .

Lin studied art at University of Pennsylvania（宾夕法尼亚大学） as an undergraduate, where she also worked as a part-time assistant in the architectural department. Later, she enrolled in stage design programs in Yale University as a graduate student, pursuing her longtime interest in drama.

Upon her return to China from the United States, she helped to establish the Architectural Department in Northeastern University in Shenyang, where she then taught architecture briefly.

She died of Tuberculosis（肺结核） in 1 April 1955 (aged 50)

After 1949, Lin and Liang Siceng was involved in the design of the National Emblem of the People's Republic of China and the Monument to the People's Heroes located in the Tiananmen Square. Lin designed the floral wreath patterns at the base of the Monument to the People's Heroes.

Liang sicheng (on April 20, 1901-on January 9, 1972), Chinese famous architectural historian, architects and city planners and educator, devoted his life to protect ancient Chinese architecture and cultural heritage. Served as a member of the central institute.在《建筑五宗师》书中与吕彦直、刘敦桢、童寯、杨廷宝合称“建筑五宗师”。

Xu Zhimo was a famous poet, a miracle person, who dedicated his life to the development of literature. His story was widespreading in China, especially his love stories with three women-Zhang Youyi, Lin Huiyin and Lu Xiaoman. He was died in a plane crash on November 19, 1931 near Tai'an, Shandong while flying from Nanjing to Beijing.

JinYueLin (1895-1984) Chinese philosopher, logician JinYueLin (1895-1984) Chinese philosopher, logician.He was born in hunan of changsha. engaged in teaching, research and organizational leadership work of philosophy and the logics ,and he is one of the earliest logician who introduced modern logic system to China . He combined the western philosophy with Chinese philosophy ,and set up the unique philosophy system. He cultivate a large number of a higher quality of philosophy and logic talents. Now JinYueLin academic foundation is established. He never married for lin.

My thought and hope Maybe we are not beautiful like Lin Huiyin or great like her, but we can try our best to make us beautiful ,no matter internal or external. As a saying said :“长得漂亮，不如活得漂亮！”We strive for becoming the women who deserve loved. At last ,I hope everyone in our class can meet your Mr. Right or Snow White as soon as possible, just like Lin Huiyin meet Liang sicheng.
