TOPIC: GENRE A “pure” genre film is one that includes standard elements of the given genre: in classic horror movies, the bad guy or monster was often MADE evil by society treating him wrong, for instance. In a romantic comedy, the unlucky guy learns to change himself and grow, and THEN he gets the girl (sound familiar?
