35 Unit9 Industry application of robot Part2 Welding robot The welding robot is an industrial robot engaged in welding. Industrial robots are a versatile, reproducible Manipulator with three or more programmable axes for industrial automation. The robot consists of the robot body and the control cabinet (hardware and software). Take arc welding as an example, the welding equipment consists of the welding power (including its control system), wire feeder, welding gun and other components. For intelligent robots it should also have a sensing system, such as laser or camera sensors and their control devices.
