2 Ⅰ. Outline of the Text  Part 1: (Paras. 1-3) Hughie Erskine was a charming but poor young man. Part 2: (Paras. 4-22) One day, he visited the studio of his friend Alan Trevor, who was an artist. In the studio, he found a miserable-looking old beggar as a model. Hughie felt sorry for the old man and gave the only pound he had to him.
