2. Yes, I am, but I feel a bit sad. 副词。 e.g. It’s a bit cold today, isn’t it? 今天有点冷,不是吗? 3. It’s got a great beat! 节奏太棒了! beat指“(音乐、诗歌等的)节奏,节 拍”。 e.g. Follow the beat, please. 请跟上节拍。

4. Pardon? pardon表示“对不起,请原谅”。用于礼貌地请求别人重复没听清或没听懂的话。 e.g. -Where is the post office? -Pardon?

5. Do you intend to stay in China for long, Tony? intend to do sth. 表示“打算做某事”。 e.g. Finney intends to go to Australia next year if all goes well. 如果一切顺利,芬尼打算明年去澳 大利亚。

for long相当于 for a long period of time, 表示“很长时间”。 例如:-Have you been waiting for long? -No, not for long. Only a few minutes.
