How long will I graduate? 多久我才能毕业呢？ The course is supposed to be finished in 3 school years. For the sake of time efficiency, you will finish learning all the required subjects in 2.5 years. 课程原本设计为三年完成。为了能让大家早日毕业，我校所有本、专科课程会在两年半（即5个学期）内完成所有教学内容。

What’s the use of the school calendar? 校历有什么用呢？ It tells you when to attend classes and when to get ready for final examinations. Some lessons are arranged in odd weeks (单周), that means, you need to come to school in week 1, 3, 5, etc. Some are arranged in even weeks (双周), that means, you need to come in week 2, 4, 6, etc. 校历是整个学期的时间安排，有些课程安排在单周，即一三五周上课。有些课程安排在双周，即二四六周上课，如此类推。

How many subjects will I take every semester? 我每学期要学几门课呢？ It’s strictly required by the CTVU (中央电大) that no more than 6 subjects should be taken every semester. In another word, you could take 6 examinations at most each semester. What does it mean? 中央电大严格规定，每个学期开设课程不得超过6门，换句话说，你每个学期最多只能参加6门课程的考试。

Your motivation decides how far you can reach. Read a short English story aloud every day. Listen to an English song on your way to school. Memorize five new words every night before sleep. Watch as many English movies and TV programs as possible. You will find you’re getting a step forward each day.
